TRACK ASSETS MORE EFFICIENTLY
What is RFID technology and how does it work?
Radio frequency identification is the use of radio waves to transfer data.
There are 3 types:
1) Low Frequency (LF)
- Frequency: 30 kHz to 300 kHz
- Reading range up to 10 cm
- Slower data transfer
2) High frequency (HF/NFC )
- Frequency: From 3 MHz to 30 MHz
- Reading range from 10 cm to 1 m
- Faster data transfer
3) Ultra High Frequency (UHF)
- Frequency: 300 MHz to 3 GHz
- Reading range up to 12 m
- Very fast data transfer
